Surrey SEND Conference: A Platform for Collaboration and Innovation

Connecting and Innovating at Surrey SEND Conference:

On the 23rd of January, our team had the privilege of attending the Surrey SEND Conference, a remarkable event hosted by Surrey County Council. This conference served as a valuable platform for teaching staff to come together and engage in workshops centred around Special Educational Needs and Disabilities (SEND). We were thrilled to have the opportunity to connect with educators, share our innovative solutions, and discuss ways to enhance both the wellbeing and academic achievements of students. The positive response we received has led to an invitation to return in November, where we will have a stall and continue supporting the brilliant teaching staff we met.

Fostering Collaboration for Educators:

The Surrey SEND Conference provided an ideal space for educators to collaborate and exchange ideas. The workshops offered a diverse range of topics, covering various aspects of SEND education. From inclusive teaching strategies to assistive technologies, the conference aimed to equip teachers with the tools and knowledge necessary to support students with diverse learning needs. It was inspiring to witness the dedication and passion of the teaching staff as they actively participated in these workshops, eager to enhance their teaching practices.

Showcasing Innovative SEND Solutions:

As a participant at the conference, we had the opportunity to showcase the innovative solutions we have been developing to improve the wellbeing and academic attainment of students with SEND. Our team was thrilled to engage in meaningful conversations with educators, discussing the challenges they face and how our solutions could address these issues. The positive feedback we received was truly encouraging, as it affirmed that our efforts were aligned with the needs of the teaching community.

Continuing Support for Dedicated Educators:

We are delighted to announce that our participation at the Surrey SEND Conference has resulted in an invitation to return in November. This invitation is a testament to the value we brought to the event and the positive impact we made on the teaching staff we connected with. Returning with a stall will provide us with an excellent opportunity to further support the brilliant educators we met, as well as engage with new faces in the field of SEND education. We are excited to continue building relationships and collaborating with these dedicated professionals.

Empowering Teaching Staff at Surrey SEND Conference:

Attending the Surrey SEND Conference was an enriching experience for our team. The event not only allowed us to connect with teaching staff but also provided a platform for collaboration and innovation in the field of SEND education. We are grateful for the opportunity to share our solutions and receive valuable feedback from educators who are at the forefront of supporting students with diverse learning needs. The invitation to return in November is a testament to the positive impact we made, and we look forward to continuing our journey of supporting and empowering the brilliant teaching staff in Surrey.
